The BL800 is a four-string Blazer series solid body electric bass introduced by Ibanez in the 1981 catalogue. A double-cutaway ash body bolted to a rock maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard and black dot inlays, and featuring a single Super P-4 pickup a Brass B-II bridge, Hercules B tuning machines, and solid knurled brass knobs. Made in Japan by Dyna Gakki.
PLEASE NOTE: Truss rod no longer functions sadly however body and electronics are completely original and functional.
The rod has snapped at some point in its life & is sitting at sub-optimal angle. 34" scale so a Fender replacement neck would do the job. Ideal for a project!
